August 2022– December 2022

College observations in a high school theatre class. Assessed and looked after 20-25 students of all grades (freshman - senior) in an auditorium/stage. Assisted host teacher with group, partner, one on one work and self reflection. Provided knowledge on theatre, dance as well as stage production and the process of creating a production team. Aid students in navigating memorization tricks and different ways to learn blocking. 

West Ridge Academy   K-8 Charter School, Greeley CO —    Teaching Observations

January 2022– February 2022

College observations in a K-8 music class. Assessed and looked after 12-18 students of all grades (majority hours were with K-4th) in a classroom. Assisted host teacher with warm ups, solfege, hand outs, instruments, copying, displaying and teaching a lesson. Provided information regarding rhythm, song and drama. Assessed and built precautionary tools for students struggling to read music. 

Inauguration, University of Northern Colorado, Directing Capstone— Director

August 2023– December 2023

I selected material, curated an artistic vision & concept reflecting  similarities between political campaigning & dating in our modern day. Worked on the  production team bring extra insight for props & organization. Facilitated warm ups, check-ins, rehearsals, character exploration activities, cool downs & other tools to improve performance.

The Stages, UNC, Soapbox Productions— Choreographer & Director

January 2014– April 2024

February 2023– April 2023

Choreographed 6 minute dance for a cast of 5 dancers using Jazz, Contemporary and Vogue dance styles to represent a fashion show of movement as my dance minor capstone project.

 A 25 minute student produced movement piece written, choreographed and directed by myself.  I conducted rehearsals of 5 people to create a story telling movement piece following & exploring the stages of grief as a young adult in college. Provided choreography, music design, and artistic vision of the performance art.

City Of Rifle, Rifle CO — Recreation Supervisor

April 2019 - August 2020       (2 Spring/Summers)

Seasonal position: coached soccer, track, basketball, archery, and taught a craft class. Taught participants ranged from ages 3-12. Performed office tasks and assisted with any special events the recreation department held, such as skate competitions, paradise, 5k races, and baseball games.

Riding Institute for Disabled Equestrians, Silt CO— Volunteer

May 2014 - 2018 August         (5 Springs/Summers)

R.I.D.E is a non-profit organization changing lives one ride at a time. As a volunteer I tacked, brushed, hoved picked, & prepped horses for students. Positions included: horse lead, side walker & side instructor. Performed physical therapy exercises with students from ages 3-100 years old. Students  vary from children, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, trauma or need improvement on self esteem. Students receive a fun time with the horses in the arena, trail ride, brushing the horses as well as physical therapy, social interaction, taking instruction and setting personal goals.
